Ijigen Day N

I built this from the community meme: “What Ijigen day is it now?”

After Ijigen Fes, people kept asking that question everywhere, so I turned it into a direct utility link instead of a repeated manual answer.

What started as a joke counter became a proper mini product.

What it does

• Tracks day count since Ijigen
• Supports related event expansions over time
• Uses custom background visuals
• Generates share-friendly previews (OG tags / social card behavior)

Engineering notes

The hardest part was timezone correctness. Day counters look simple, but “what day is it now?” breaks fast if day-boundary logic is not strict across environments.

Practical impact

• It was a hit in the community for a while
• It still gets used when the meme question comes up

Status

Active in light maintenance mode. I only update event definitions when new meme moments appear.
